Our Volunteers
The Wings Foundation is overseen by a panel of 5 Officer Directors & 7 Advisory Directors while being governed by an 22 member panel of Term Directors & administratively staffed by an all volunteer force of more than 80 American Airlines Flight Attendants.
The Officer Directors are largely focused on all aspects of the regulatory & financial operations of the Foundation and they report directly to the Term Directors. The annually elected Term Directors establish the operating guidlines and fiscal goals of the Foundation.
They also assist the local base volunteers in conducting case work assesment in offering financial assistance to Flight Attendants in need, while ensuring that established policies & guidelines are frequently reviewed, undertood and adhered to.
