The Wings Foundation is a charitable organization administered by active American Airlines Flight Attendants to assist American Airlines Flight Attendants in critical need of financial assistance due to illness, injury or disability; or who have sustained damage to their primary residence that is damaged or destroyed by a catastrophic event or natural disaster.

 

The Wings Foundation offers verifiable assistance that is strictly governed according to 25 years of time tested guidelines. WINGS observes all Federal laws which apply to Non-Profit Organizations as defined in Section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code.

 

How is WINGS Funded?

• Payroll deductions from very generous Flight Attendants

• KIWI Club Donations

• Flight Attendant VEOP Donations

• Fundraising Events

• Regular Donations

• Memorial Donations

• Annual Bequests

• Recycling of on board aluminum cans and wine corks

 

Due to IRS restrictions on 501(c)3 charitable organizations, The Wings Foundation cannot be party to fundraising endeavors that are earmarked for specific Flight Attendants.
